You trust us with your account and your trading interests. Here’s how we look after them, and how you can help.
How we protect your account
- Encrypted everywhere. Every connection to LemonTrades uses HTTPS.
- Passwords are hashed. We never store your password itself, so nobody, including us, can read it.
- A locked-down sign-in cookie. It’s HTTP-only and secure, so scripts on the page can’t read it and it only travels over HTTPS.
- Email confirmation. New accounts confirm their email address before they can sign in.
- Google sign-in asks for little. Only your name, email address and profile picture. Never your Gmail, contacts or files.
- Less data, less risk. We don’t store payment details or connect to your broker, and we never sell your information.
- Deleting means deleting. Delete your account in Settings and your data goes right away. Backups expire within about 30 days.
Staying safe
Trading communities attract scammers, and some of them borrow real names. Here’s what we will and won’t ever do:
We never ask for your password
Not by email, Telegram, Discord or anywhere else. Only type it on lemontrades.app.
Our emails come from lemontrades.app
Alerts and account emails from no-reply@lemontrades.app, and our replies from hello@lemontrades.app. Anything else claiming to be us isn’t.
Check the Telegram username
Our bot is @tradeassistlybot, named LemonTrades. Impostors can copy a name, not a username.
We never handle money
We don’t take deposits, manage accounts, sell signals in private groups or ask for crypto. Anyone offering that in our name is a scam.
Use a unique password
Or sign in with Google. A password you use elsewhere is only as safe as the weakest site.
Guard your Discord webhook
Anyone with the URL can post to your channel. If it leaks, delete it in Discord and add a new one.
Report a security problem
If you think you’ve found a vulnerability in LemonTrades, please email us privately at hello@lemontrades.app, with enough detail for us to reproduce it. We’ll look at every report and let you know what we find.
While you look, please don’t access or change other people’s data, disrupt the service, or test against accounts that aren’t yours, and give us a reasonable time to fix a problem before you share it.
