How can we help?

Answers about alerts, the morning brief, Twan, notifications and your account.

Getting started

How do I get started?

Sign up at lemontrades.app/sign-up. Your 3-day free trial starts right away, with everything included and no card needed. When it ends, you can upgrade for $19 a month in Settings, under Plan. If we sent you an invite, sign up with your invite link.

How do I cancel?

Open Settings → Plan and choose Manage. You keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for, and you won’t be charged again. During the free trial there’s nothing to cancel.

I signed up but can’t sign in

New accounts confirm their email first. Look for an email from no-reply@lemontrades.app, and check your spam folder. Signing in with Google skips this step.

How do I choose my markets?

The setup after you join asks for them. You can change them any time in Settings → Markets & topics. Add any US-listed stock by its ticker.

What are priority topics?

Themes you care about most, like inflation, Treasury yields, Fed decisions, interest rates or the US dollar. News on your topics reaches you even when it doesn’t name your markets, needs one point less to become an alert, skips the hourly cap, and leads your feed.

Is there a tour of the app?

Yes. It runs the first time you open your feed, and you can replay it any time with Take the tour in the account menu.

Alerts

What does the score mean?

AI scores every headline from 0 to 10 for each market. 3 and up goes on the news wire, and breaking stories at your cut-off or above become alerts. Shocks are 9–10: wars, surprise central bank moves, crashes. How the desk reads the news.

I’m getting too many alerts, or too few

In Settings → Alerts:

  • How many alerts: More alerts (6+), Balanced (7+), Major only (8+) or Shocks only (9+).
  • At most per hour: a cap. Shocks always get through.
  • Price spike alerts: on or off.
  • Quiet hours: overnight, only shocks get through.
What do confirmed, single source and unconfirmed mean?

How sure we are. Confirmed means a major outlet reported it. Single source means one outlet so far. Unconfirmed report is a claim nobody has checked yet. When Reuters, Bloomberg, the WSJ, CNBC, the BBC, AP or the FT reports the same event within a day, the alert switches to confirmed and you get a short follow-up.

What is a price spike alert?

When a market you follow moves sharply within minutes, you get a ⚡ alert with the likely cause. What counts as sharp depends on the market: a move that’s normal for Bitcoin would be huge for EUR/USD.

Why did I get an alert that doesn’t name my market?

It probably touches one of your priority topics, like inflation or the Fed. You can change your topics in Settings → Markets & topics.

Where do I see every headline, not just alerts?

On the news wire in your feed. You can also get the newest wire headlines for your markets on Telegram and Discord, as one silent message after each scan (Settings → Alerts).

Calendar & briefs

When do calendar warnings arrive?

Before high-impact releases and central bank decisions: 30, 15 or 5 minutes before, as you choose in Settings → Alerts → Heads-up before releases (15 is the default). The result, actual against forecast and what it means, follows about a minute after the release.

When does the morning brief come?

Every weekday at your brief time: 7:00 AM in your time zone unless you change it. Pick a time between 4:00 and 10:00 AM, or turn it off, in Settings → Morning brief.

Where do the key levels come from?

Real prices: the prior day’s high and low, the overnight range, and the 5- and 20-day ranges.

How is the scorecard graded?

Each brief’s call is checked at the next 5 PM ET close, at least two hours later. The full rules.

Ask Twan

What can I ask Twan?

Anything about your markets: why something moved, what’s on the calendar, where the key levels are, how the desk’s calls have done. He checks live prices, the news wire, alerts, the calendar, your brief, the scorecard, Treasury yields and the web before he answers.

How many questions can I ask?

30 in any 24 hours during the beta.

Can I ask Twan on Telegram?

Yes. Connect Telegram in Settings, then send any message to the bot: in a connected chat, every message is a question. The web and Telegram share one conversation. Send /new to start over.

Will Twan tell me what to trade?

No. He gives analysis, never buy or sell orders, and he doesn’t know your finances. He can be wrong, so check anything important.

Notifications

How do I connect Telegram?
  1. Open Settings → Notifications and press Connect next to Telegram.
  2. Telegram opens the LemonTrades bot. Press Start.
  3. The app shows Connected within a few seconds.

If the link has expired, press Connect again.

How do I connect Discord?
  1. In Discord, open your server’s Server Settings → Integrations → Webhooks and create a webhook for the channel you want.
  2. Copy its URL.
  3. Paste it in Settings → Notifications → Discord.

Keep the webhook URL private: anyone who has it can post to that channel.

How do I stop the emails?

Turn off Email in Settings → Notifications, or use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any notification email. Account emails, like password resets, still arrive.

What’s in the bell?

Every alert, heads-up and brief you get, kept for 30 days. Quiet hours and the hourly cap hold back messages to your phone, email, Telegram and Discord, but never the bell.

Account & privacy

I forgot my password

Choose Forgot password on the sign-in page. We’ll email you a reset link, and send it to your Telegram if it’s connected.

How do I delete my account?

Open Settings → Account and choose Delete account. Your account, settings, Twan conversations and history are deleted right away.

What do you do with my data?

Only what it takes to run LemonTrades. We don’t sell it or use it for ads. Read the Privacy Policy and the Cookies Policy.

Is LemonTrades financial advice?

No. It’s market information and analysis. Read the disclaimer.
